Greece names Santos new coach

Rehhagel quit last week after Greece was eliminated from the World Cup. The 71-year-old German was in charge of the team for nine years, leading them to the Euro 2004 title.

Santos, who is Portuguese, has previously coached Greek club teams AEK Athens, Panathinaikos and PAOK.
